For the Road doet boekingen voor artiesten en bands in diverse genres. Bekende namen zijn o.a. Rob van de Wouw, Sinas, Euro Cinema, T-99, Carlo de Wijs en Marten de Paepe. Ook is For the Road bookings agent in Nederland voor buitenlandse groepen als The Rhythm Junks/Steven De Bruyn en (i.s.m. Gazz Bookings) Camille O'Sullivan. For the Road verzorgde optredens in theaters, op festivals en in pop/jazz-clubs zoals North Sea Jazz, Noorderslag, Paradiso en Tivoli.
For the Road houdt zich eveneens bezig met promotietrajecten rondom cd-releases (o.a. 'Pop off'' -The Rhythm Junks). Door goede contacten met Radio, TV, geschreven en online pers worden nieuwe releases ruim onder de aandacht gebracht bij de juiste doelgroep van een artiest.
Naast boekingen en promotie verzorgt For the Road artiestenmanagement. Denk hierbij aan carrierebegeleiding, coaching en advies.
For the Road werd in 2007 opgericht door Walter Wilhelm. Eerder werkte hij voor Dox Records/Stroom waar hij boekingen verzorgde voor o.a. New Cool Collective, Benjamin Herman 4tet, Zuco103, C-mon & Kypski en Benny Sings.
